Monty is our Gelderlander horse, originally named Jahoy in the Dutch Warmblood Studbook.
Born in Holten in the Netherlands in 1993 he was imported to the UK for use as a harness horse. He spent some time as a wheeler in a coaching team before eventually joining us to take his place in our wedding carriage business.
He is a 16.3 gelding and is a forward going chap, with a big rolling pace, always willing to work hard even when pulling up long hills. He has a great temperament, very affectionate when handled and loves a cuddle.
