The Horses
Sutveny BK9 (we call him Silver) was born at a Lipizzaner stud in 1991 in Hungary and imported to the UK by John Parker International for George Bowman where he was broken to harness.
He is a 16.2 gelding and is the livelier of the pair, always willing to work hard even when pulling up long hills. He has a great temperament, and will do anything for food.
Maestoso Contessa III (or Stousa) was born in Sussex, UK, in 1987 and has a certified blood line back to one of the original Lipizzaner stallions.
He is also a 16.2 gelding, but is of a quieter temperament, and more aloof than Silver. He can be a little work shy, preferring to let Silver do the hard work, so Joanne has to ensure he doesn't get away with this too often.
